On the 350th anniversary of the Peasants' War, the Rüderswil local association set up a memorial trail to commemorate the peasant leader Niklaus Leuenberger. The hiking trail (8 kilometers) leads past the Leuenberger monument and the house where Niklaus Leuenberger lived. The BBQ place can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes from our house. Have fun with the hike.
